How to: move or update an OpenECU Calibrator license

Install a new OpenECU Calibrator license

  1. Close any running instances of OpenECU Calibrator
  2. Download your license file from the Cuedo Controls support portal. It will be a zip archive with the snoop_licence.txt file inside
  3. Extract the zip archive to a temporary folder, for example the Downloads directory
  4. Navigate to your OpenECU Calibrator install directory, typically C:/Program Files (x86)/PiSnoop/, although this will depend on the path you selected during installation
  5. Copy the snoop_licence.txt from the temporary directory into your OpenECU Calibrator install directory
  6. Run OpenECU Calibrator and confirm the license details on the disclaimer splash screen


Update an existing OpenECU Calibrator license

  1. Close any running instances of OpenECU Calibrator
  2. Download your license file from the Cuedo Controls support portal. It will be a zip archive with a snoop_licence.txt file inside
  3. Extract the zip archive to a temporary folder, for example the Downloads directory
  4. Navigate to your OpenECU Calibrator install directory, typically C:/Program Files (x86)/PiSnoop/, although this will depend on the path you selected during installation
  5. Overwrite the snoop_licence.txt in your OpenECU Calibrator install directory with the snoop_licence.txt from your temporary directory
  6. Run OpenECU Calibrator and confirm the license details on the disclaimer splash screen
